Refund policy

Returns Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, please contact us at sales@ajplastics.co.za. Returns must be sent to: 18 Eland St, Koedoespoort Industrial, Pretoria, 0186. If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted. You can contact us at any time with return questions at sales@ajplastics.co.za.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), you are entitled to receive goods that are safe, of good quality, and fit for purpose.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom or special-order products, and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions about your specific item. Returns on sale items or gift cards cannot be accepted.

Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act

In terms of the CPA, you have the right to return goods within 6 months of purchase if they are found to be defective, and to choose between a repair, replacement, or full refund. In addition, if goods were marketed or sold through direct marketing, you have a 5 business day cooling-off period during which you may cancel the agreement without penalty.

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return and will let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at sales@ajplastics.co.za.
